Selina sees how the various application components are not isolated, but are instead jigsaw pieces. Though she is not alone in recognizing this, she has an exceptional intuition and foresight on how to strategically assemble the jigsaw pieces together. That was exactly the approach she took when she helped proofread my Stanford essays, which read not as separate pieces but as continuous chapters in the book that is my life. With her advice and encouragement, I can say that the version of myself I showed the admissions committee is the most authentic yet also the best possible one.

Selina helped me immensely with the crafting and editing of my UK personal statement. When I showed her my first draft, she was especially astute in quickly pointing out its strengths and flaws. Her suggestions on both rephrasing (she has fantastic stylistic advice) and structuring helped to highlight my achievements in a much more coherent, focussed and powerful manner. I ended up getting into all five of the UK schools I applied to, including Cambridge, LSE and UCL. With no doubt, she is easily one of the best writers I know, who is attuned to the admissions process and who has successfully made applications shine in her different roles of applicant, peer recommender and adviser.
